概要 Conditional knockout mice of Dab1 was constructed and their hippocampal formation (HF) was studied with developmental analysis. A silver impregnation method revealed abnormalities in the CA1, CA3, DG in HF and in the DG the intermediate progenitor cells ectopically located while neurogenesis was normal in the CA1 and CA3. The morphogenesis in these HF subdivisions may employ different developmental mechanisms involving Dab1 function.
