概要 We examined bereaved family members' perspectives on end-of-life care in Japanese nursing homes using the Family Perception of Care Scale (FPCS). Of the 493 surveys mailed to bereaved families from February to June 2014, 487 returned completed. We analyzed 405 responses that satisfied our analytical criteria. We also found that FPCS items were inadequate to assess the quality of end-of-life care in Japanese nursing homes. Further study is necessary to develop appropriate instruments for Japanese nursing homes.
