概要 In this study, we clarify the GRIT of public health nurses and use the results to help these nurses overcome the crises they face and improve their ability to carry out their duties. A total of 10 participants were interviewed: two from prefectures, three from government-designated cities, one from a core city, and four from municipalities. The GRIT of public health nurses consisted of the following: having a passion for pursuing and achieving long-term goals, having a sense of responsibility and desire to contribute to the community and its residents, having a passion for the expertise and social role of public health nurses, and having the perseverance to see activities through, even when it is difficult to show results or when there is a health crisis.
